I became a teacher to help children realize how special they are! Yes, I teach Reading and Writing, and that is very important, but no child will be able to learn if they don’t feel loved and special.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne day a student walked into my room and was just sad. I asked if there was anything I could do to ease this emotion. They said- can I just sit by you? Just that simple request of sitting near me made my heart melt. As the minutes passed, they began to read and do their work. After sometime, they thanked me.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would remodel a few classrooms in our school. I would love to make book nooks, a calm down area, and technology made available to every student.
