I became a teacher because I've always been interested in helping and leading kids. Seeing a student gain confidence in themselves and their ability is something that other jobs don't offer. My students become "MY" children, and I love them as such.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was when a student moved to our school with no confidence, and struggling in school. She was being bullied where she came from, and was just not able to perform to her ability level. When she came here, she not only gained confidence, but she is one of the top reading students in her class. She always has a smile on her face, and when given the choice to go home, or stay at school.....she chooses school. This is why I do what I do!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would pay off bills. I have a lot of student loan debt, and this would cover that.
