Learn MoreI wanted to be a teacher my whole life. It's all I ever wanted to do. I love helping kids learn and grow. I teach pre-k because the skills we learn at that age set us up for life and school success, it is such an important part of children's development.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceEvery day has memorable moments for me. When a student gets excited about a science experiment and wants to explore the concepts more. When a student shares their favorite animal and we can spend time learning all about it, or sharing my love of space with kids who want to be astronauts. Inspiring the next generation of learners and scientist is the most memorable part of teaching to me.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use part of the money to go back to school, furthering my education to help me be a better teacher. I would also use some of the money for my classroom, I would love to add more engaging science, engineering, and math manipulatives.
