Learn MoreIt is a calling, throughout my education, I continuously thought about various lessons, which were fantastic and which I would do differently. I started working with children young and though I thought about other career paths (most notably genetics), I finally realized sophomore year of college that there was only one path that excited me and kept me interested. I love the challenge, the diversity of each day, and the difference I make.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of my best moments in education was working with a student who was years behind his peers, others had written him off in part due to extreme ADHD, but I found ways to get through and he gained 4 reading levels in a year. There were tears in his eyes when he realized his achievement.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use it as a down payment for a house. I have never owned a home and it is a dream of mine to one day live in my own house.
