I love teaching because it gives me the opportunity to make a positive difference in people’s lives every day.

I became a teacher because I wanted to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Education has the power to open doors, build confidence, and create opportunities. I enjoy helping students understand new ideas and watching them grow academically and personally. Being a teacher allows me to encourage curiosity, support learning, and inspire students to believe in their potential. Knowing that I can help guide someone toward their goals is what motivates me every day.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of my most memorable teaching experiences was helping a student who struggled with confidence and believed they were not good at learning. I spent extra time encouraging them, breaking lessons into smaller steps, and celebrating every improvement. Over time, I watched that student begin to participate more, ask questions, and believe in their abilities. Seeing their confidence grow and knowing I played a part in that transformation reminded me why teaching is so meaningful.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I received $25,000, I would use the funds to support students who may not have access to supplies or enrichment opportunities. I would purchase classroom materials, provide project resources, and create after-school learning activities that help students grow academically and personally while ensuring every student has the tools they need to succeed.
