I became a teacher because I wanted to help students fall in love with learning and education. My favorite thing to hear is that students love coming to school. That’s how it should be.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI would say the most memorable aspect of teaching is knowing you made a difference with students. I still have students who come to visit me after 5 years. It makes me feel like I made an impact and am appreciated for how I treated them.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would add flexible seating to my classroom. I’d like buy extra supplies for students in need and ensure each student has the materials they need.
