I became a teacher because I genuinely love the subject I teach and believe in its power to shape young minds. More than anything, I am passionate about helping students grow into informed, responsible, and engaged citizens who make a positive impact in their communities.

My most memorable moments are the connections I build with my students and seeing the exact moment when something clicks for them. Watching them truly understand a concept and grow in confidence makes everything worth it.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If awarded $25,000, I would invest it directly into my students and classroom. I would purchase updated materials and technology to strengthen instruction and STAAR readiness. I would also enhance our classroom culture by creating a safe, welcoming environment where students feel valued and confident to learn. My goal is to remove barriers, strengthen community, and help students grow into informed, responsible citizens
