I have a friend who saw something in me when working a day camp. I feel kids need some TLC for teachers and support. I have a saying it says "Once your Ruby kids your always be Ruby's kids". I still get calls and texts from past students to see how I am.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI had a student who was living with her mom and was kicked out of their living place and only had clothes what's on their back. I went home and my kids and I gave clothes for her and her mom and she felt relief and started to cry.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would take my kids on a family vacation since my oldest grandson will be going away for college and my granddaughter wants a sweet sixteen so money will go towards these 2 happy occasions.
