I first became a teacher because my sister told me that I would get my summers off and as a college student that sounded amazing. I continued teaching because I loved seeing the look in a student’s eyes when they understood a concept I taught them. There is no better feeling than seeing a child learning.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI have so many memorable experiences but I think one of my favorite times are when former students come back and tell me that they became a teacher because of the influence I had on them. There is no greater compliment.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use this money to help supplement my pension and to pay off some of the bills I have.
