Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I love helping students grow and succeed beyond the classroom. I’ve seen how guidance, clear instruction, and hands-on experiences empower them to achieve more than they thought possible. I also enjoy creating opportunities for students to apply real-world skills through projects, technical writing, or interactive assignments. For me, teaching isn’t just about delivering content.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of my most memorable experiences was leading a student-run marketing pop-up shop. Seeing my students take what we practiced in class, problem-solve, and succeed in a real-world setting was incredibly rewarding.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If awarded the $25,000, I would invest it directly in hands-on learning experiences for my students. This would include funding marketing projects, student-run pop-up shops, and technical writing exercises, providing them with real-world opportunities to apply classroom skills, develop confidence, and prepare for future careers.
