Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I have a passion for helping students learn, grow, and believe in themselves. I enjoy creating a positive environment where children feel supported and encouraged to reach their potential. Watching students understand new ideas, gain confidence, and succeed is incredibly rewarding. Teaching allows me to make a difference in young lives and help shape a brighter future for the next generation.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of my most memorable teaching experiences was helping a student who struggled with confidence in the classroom. At first, they were afraid to answer questions and often stayed quiet during lessons. With encouragement, patience, and extra support, I watched their confidence slowly grow. One day they raised their hand, answered correctly, and smiled with pride. That moment reminded me why teaching is so meaningful—seeing a student believe in themselves and realize their potential.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won the $25,000, I would invest it back into my students and classroom. I would purchase updated learning materials, technology, and hands on resources that make lessons more engaging and effective. I would also set aside funds to support educational experiences such as field trips and enrichment activities that many students might not otherwise have access to. The goal would be to create more opportunities for my students to learn, grow, and succeed.
