Tell us why you became a teacher

Both my parents were educators and I spent my days off going to my mom’s school and interacting with the students. They always treated me well and took care of me like I was one of their own which made me feel very comfortable teaching . Those first initial insights into teaching as a sick child formed my mind about teaching early in my life as something I could do .

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

I remember doing experiments with students and they were so excited about making lanterns with candles . I worked on alternative high schools where traditional education had marginalized many of the student population and they came back to reclaim their high school experience and it was very rewarding

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would clear all my Debt and also save for my children’s future . As a teacher and father with a family of four life has become very expensive and I need to be able to clear my expenses from my credit card , save some money and put away some money in investments for the future .
