Tell us why you became a teacher

Inspired by my mother, I fell in love with teaching early on. Tutoring calculus and chemistry showed me how much I enjoy both my subjects and guiding others through the learning process. Helping students move from confusion to understanding is deeply rewarding, and it’s that joy of learning and sharing knowledge that led me to become a teacher.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

During my first year teaching, the pandemic hit mid year, and I had to quickly transition to distance learning. I worked hard to create lessons and videos that made tough chemistry concepts clear and engaging. Though I missed being with my students, their heartfelt emails thanking me for my effort and care reminded me why teaching is so meaningful.

I would love to put as a down payment on my very first home!
