Learn MoreTeaching is a calling. I felt the calling after college in 1990 and went through the alternate route program to become certified. Sharing my love of the German language and culture with others was something o had to do. To this day, it still brings me great joy.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was preparing my level 2 German students for a Socratic seminar. Many do not realize that even at level 2, German learner can hold a debate and express their opinions for a sustained period. Watching them debate for a full class with success is my most filled me with pride. I will never forget that first Level 2 Socratic Seminar!
