Tell us why you became a teacher

It's what I was born to do. I have always loved children and helping them learn. It is so fun to watch them learn and grow. I've been "around" long enough to see them grow up, graduate, start jobs, getting married, and start families of their own. It is so joyous to witness. I couldn't be more proud.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

I loved completing hands on work with my kids. Some things I have done is measuring noodles, sink/float activities, making banana pudding, and teaching social skills. I can't pick just one. I have a memory wall with students from previous years and the fun activities we have completed. It creates interest and desire from my current students. An added bonuse.....I get to brag!

What would you do with the $25,000?

This is easy........pay some bills, take a small vacation (I'm thinking Wrigley Field - go Cubbies), put some in the bank, spoil my nieces, and buy some food items for my students. This is a high demand reinforcer or something they can "buy" with the tokens they earn. I can't purchase food with my teacher funds.
