I come from a family of educators so it seemed a natural path. After 40 years I am still teaching and am thankful to be blessed with the ability to make a difference.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceEveryday has memorable moments. One of my most memorable classes was Disney YES class. It was so exciting to watch the students build the rides in class and learn how they work. We then traveled to Disneyland and worked with the Imagineers. It was a life changing trip for the students and myself.
What would you do with the $25,000?When I win the $25,000 I will use the money to create a Disney YES class in Lefors ISD. I would love to have my students experience Disneyland through the eyes of the Imagineers. If they can dream it they can do it!
