Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceAfter more than 30 years in the classroom, it’s almost impossible to choose one most memorable teaching experience. There have been so many moments that have touched my heart. For me, the most meaningful experiences are not tied to one specific lesson or school year. They happen every time I see a child succeed whether academically are emotionally. The most memorable moment is that look on a child’s face, the spark of pride, confidence, and joy! That expression still means everything to me.
What would you do with the $25,000?As my career comes to an end, I look forward to using that money to travel and see the United States I can picture myself sending postcards to all my special friends, letting them know that I’m out in the world, discovering new places, meeting new people and embracing new experiences, just like I always encourage them to do. And most of all I want them to know that I will be thinking of them with love and gratitude.
