I became a teacher for mathematics because I once had a teacher who inspired me. She taught me math is just following the rules. A basic in life and if you follow the rules you ALWARSYS win. I fell in love with math. I wanted to inspire others I. The same manner. Math makes the world move and that is exciting but the true joy is seeing students feel that same passion.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable moments are when I see students years after they were in my class. I see them grown up, sometimes in gales that in love Math, other times not. However they are thriving. They are amazing individuals and that’s the true blessing.
What would you do with the $25,000?Honestly I would help others. Winning money like that after having been a single mom and teacher of may for most of my life, it would be life changing. I would help students feel love for learning and help my own family including two amazing grandchildren to thrive in life. This would truly be life changing.
