Tell us why you became a teacher

The wear and tear on my body from my career and I seen the industry lacking the numbers of new younger technicians moving towards the industry . I also seen a lot of younger technicians with a defeated attitude when working on something they never have instead of a critical thinking attitude to figure it out

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

I had a student at the beginning of the year who wanted to bring in a coffee maker for there class as winters in Missouri are cold the student plugged it in and it did not work he then stated I’ll throw it away and go buy another I told him no he was not to grab a volt meter and go into the shop and we would see if we could figure it out and we did! We found a bad connection then repaired it the kureg machine is still working until this day

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would further my education and acquire labs to donate to the school for my students maybe even give a couple scholarships
