I became a teacher not because of I love learning; yes I’m still in school getting another degree (it never stops) I wanted to be able to create experience and memories as some of my teachers did for me years later. Ex: science experiment at age 5 kinagrden with Mrs. Jackson.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience is having students study and participate in cultural lessons in class. Creating lessons around Diwali, BHM, Lunar NY and having them feel seen, heard and validated; and the displays we make are the most fulfilling
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use this to donate portions to my temple/church where some of my students attend. Also, work in paying off some of my own student debt an of course buying things for my classroom and bulletin boards.
