I became a teacher because I wanted to put my passion of music and my passion of helping youth together. I had somebody who once saw something in me, and I wanted to provide the same opportunity to somebody else.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was when a student of mine finished her audition for a military band and heard they were selected. This young lady lit up with pride and joy followed by tears. She was completely shocked That she was going to be able to continue to pursue her passion of music and performing.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would put the money towards an instrument for my son who is just starting his musical journey. I would put it towards Lessons for my daughter to continue her passion for her sport. Lastly, I would celebrate with my family.
