I love teaching because I connect with kids, inspire them to believe anything as possible, and watch them grow knowing I made an impact

I became a teacher because working with kids has always been a natural part of my life as the oldest cousin in my family I was off and the one caring for the younger kids that continued through high school when I babysat and taught swim lesson lessons. Those experiences help me realize how much I love connecting with children, encouraging them and helping them learn teaching allows me to inspire students to believe in themselves, support their growth, and hopefully have a lasting impact on them.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of my most memorable teaching experiences was with a student who was a double amputee. One day he came into class so excited because he had learned to walk on his prosthetic legs. He told me he wanted me to be the first person at school to see him do it. Watching him take those steps with so much pride and determination was incredibly moving. It reminded me how meaningful the relationships we build with our students are and how special it is to be a part of their biggest moments.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I won $25,000 I would first use it to pay off some bills and release financial stress. I would also help a few family members who have been going through a difficult time and could really use the support. Finally, I would take a long needed vacation to recharge and spend quality time with the people I love.
