I became a teacher because I fell in love with my first grade and second grade teachers. They were kind, nurturing role models. I wanted to grow up to be just like them.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was outside the classroom. I bought one of my students a bicycle because he did not have one. Then I took him and his grandma who was raising him to the Dairy Queen where he had this treat for the first time. Grandma got a sundae!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the money for prizes for my prize box. I would use the prizes as incentives for the kids to want to behave. I would also use the money for supplies in my classroom.
