When I was in the first grade I had a teacher who made me feel safe, loved and seen in a time where that wasn’t the norm for me. If I can do that for one child I will be happy.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI teach Kindergarten. One day on the carpet I started singing Student 1: “you're singing again?” Me: “Yeah I sing a lot huh?” Student 2: “You talk a lot too.”
