I became a teacher because I have always loved working with kids and helping them grow in their learning. I enjoy supporting students as they build confidence and understand new concepts. I also believe learning should be fun and engaging, and I love creating experiences that help students enjoy learning and feel excited about school.

One of my most memorable teaching experiences was helping a student who struggled with learning math. I spent extra time tutoring and supporting them so they could better understand the skills. Over time, I saw their confidence grow as they realized they could succeed. It was rewarding to watch them not give up and begin to believe in their ability to learn.

If I won the $25,000, I would use part of the money to support my classroom by purchasing books, learning resources, and materials that help make learning engaging for my students. I would also invest in my future by going back to school to earn my master’s degree in education. In addition, I would donate part of the money to support underprivileged students and families in my community.
