I wanted to build relationships and inspire youngsters to strive for excellence. I wanted to collaborate with colleagues to find new and improved ways to motivate students to want to learn.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceThe first part of my career was spent teaching at a private Catholic School. The second part of my career was spent teaching struggling youth in an Alternative program for 20 years. Despite the difference in those demographics, the one favorite part is how former students continue to reach out and touch base and remind me of the impact I had on their life. That's what it's all about for me. Making a difference
What would you do with the $25,000?Use it for remodeling projects at my home.
