Tell us why you became a teacher

I did not set out to become a teacher, teaching chose me. I began working as a substitute to offset my income and I became more and more interested in the students. I made the decision to go back to school to work with students full time. I’ve never looked back!!!!

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

Wow! My most memorable teaching moment that will stay with me forever is….a student that I still see many years later cut a peers ponytail off. That fluffy high ponytail looked so inviting to him and he cut the fluffy part of the ponytail off. I still see his eyes today.

What would you do with the $25,000?

What would I do with $25,000? It’s really hard to fathom winning such a large sum of money. I would keep pinching myself to see if the experience was real.
