Tell us why you became a teacher

I want to ensure all learners can have access to high quality lessons. Learning never takes a break, and I want to help students of all ages gain knowledge to help them not only gain knowledge but to feel successful when they complete a class. Knowing I have my best effort to my first graders to help them have a solid foundation in second grade or my adults to start a new career is my why every day.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

Being able to have the opportunity to teach an introduction to healthcare class is so rewarding. Knowing my students are currently training to start new careers is just the best news any teacher could ever receive.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would take my daughter on a graduation trip to celebrate her graduation from college, then I would work on my masters degree so I could teach at the collegiate level.
