Learn MoreI am sure you have heard this before but I really got into teaching because I wanted to help kids. I worked with my city prek summer program beginning when I used to volunteer at 14 until I was 18. I had several teachers that made me love school and I wanted to do that for other kids.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI have had several but the most memorable experience with teaching is I had a student around 10 years ago and she worked hard in everything she did and grew so much. I have been part of her family since then. Going to activities still to this day for her. We now spend time together without parents.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would pay off my bills. I would stop my second job. I would give some to my 2 boys and of course some would go to my school that I have been with for 21 years.
