Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceWhen I first started working as a paraprofessional, I had a single student who was in and out of DEAP. After getting to know him and his situation I was eager to develop a relationship with him. Things took off quickly and his growth was EXPONENTIAL! I was an ear to him, I was a mentor to him, I was a friend to him. By the end of the year he completely flipped his attitude and demeanor towards school and teachers. Never again has he been back in DEAP and I couldn’t be more proud.
