I always knew I wanted to help people. When I was in college I had a completely different major but took a teaching in the classroom class. It was so much fun and I felt a tug and knew right then and there God had different plans for me!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI don’t know where to start! Too many. I love when students come back and thank me for being an inspiration. The most recent is I had an athlete 8th grader who was failing but wanted to get into an elite high school. I worked with him and he ended the year with A’s and B’s, got accepted into the school and got a scholarship. He was so excited at graduation hugged me and thanked me for believing in him and pushing him. That’s what it’s all about.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would pay off some debts I have. Put some towards a nice home for my family and savings for my kids future.
