Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of my most memorable moments was watching a student who struggled all year finally explain a concept to a classmate in their own words. They didn’t even realize how big that moment was, but I did. It was a reminder that teaching isn’t about perfect lessons, it’s about quiet breakthroughs that change how students see themselves.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’d start by putting some aside for savings so there’s that sense of security. That kind of stability matters. Then I’d take care of any bills or balances that create stress. Clearing those always feels like a reset. After that, I’d invest directly in my students. Classroom supplies we never quite have enough of, hands-on science materials, books students actually want to read, and maybe experiences like guest speakers or field trip support so no one is left out.
