I became a teacher to be the light children needed to succeed. Many times staff do not want to work with our most vulnerable students, but even though it’s a difficult job it is one of the most rewarding jobs.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was pre-Covid. I had a kindergartner come into my classroom and she had no verbal language. We got her speech services and an AAC device. By the end of the school year she was talking and jokingly bossing the other students around.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would put it in savings and hope to use it one day for a house in the future.
