I became a teacher because I want to make a difference in children’s lives by supporting their education, encouraging their potential, and helping them build a strong foundation for their future.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of my most memorable teaching experiences was helping a student who was struggling with learning and confidence. I spent extra time encouraging them and finding different ways to help them understand the material. Seeing that student finally understand the lesson and become more confident in themselves reminded me why I love teaching.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I received the $25,000, I would invest it back into my classroom and students. I would purchase learning materials, books, and technology to help create a more engaging learning environment. I would also use part of it to support activities and resources that help students grow academically and emotionally.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like America's Favorite Teacher, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
