I became a teacher because I have a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their academic and personal growth. Although I initially pursued a different career path, I realized that education was where I could make the greatest impact. Teaching allows me to build meaningful relationships, foster a love of learning, and help students reach their full potential.

Memorable teaching moments happen constantly I watch struggling students gain confidence daily from mastering a skill they once found impossible. Seeing their pride and excitement reminds me that teaching is about more than academics—it’s about building belief in students and helping them recognize their own potential.

With $25,000, I would enhance my Harry Potter–themed classroom to further engage students and create a love of learning. I would update my classroom library with diverse, high-interest books and donate a large portion to support school-wide needs. If funds remained, I would responsibly apply them toward my student loans.
