I love teaching because tiny lightbulb moments, wild questions, and messy creativity turn every day into pure magic.

Learn MoreI became a teacher because I believe education changes lives. It builds confidence, opens doors, and helps children see their potential. My teachers at Johnson Elementary School in Bryan, Texas inspired me by making school feel safe, joyful, and encouraging. I teach not only for academic growth, but to nurture hearts and help children feel seen, valued, and confident in who they are becoming.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceThe first day of teaching Kindergarten is a beautiful kind of chaos. The room hums with nervous chatter, tiny backpacks thump against cubbies, and a few tears mix with wide-eyed wonder. Underneath the noise, something powerful is happening. Routines begin to take shape; how to sit on the carpet, how to line up, how to share, how to listen. Small hands learn where to go and what to do. More importantly, hearts begin to feel safe. By the end of the day, they are "yours."
What would you do with the $25,000?With $25,000, I would first pay off debt to create financial peace and stability. With any remaining funds, I would begin working toward my dream of opening a doggie daycare, a safe, loving place where pets are cared for like family.
