Learn MoreI initially didn’t set out to be a teacher, but I discovered during my years as a 1:1 support aide how much of a positive impact I am able to make on students lives by making sure that they felt heard and that they could trust an educator to help them achieve their own goals.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI was lucky enough to establish a media arts program and annual film festival at my school. We have been able to create over 100 short films and help students see their projects on the big screen!
What would you do with the $25,000?With the $25,000 I would put it towards expanding the school’s media arts program. Ideally I would love to be able to rent a real studio space to give students the opportunity to create bigger productions and help them realize their films the way they appear in their heads!
