I love helping my students achieve things that they usually struggle with! When they learn something new, it is so rewarding to see the excitement in their eyes.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience is when one of my students promoted to middle school and she cried because she was nervous that she wouldn’t do as well in a new environment. I was able to help her with the transition. She has come back to see me each year since moving on. She is now in highschool, about to graduate and still comes to see me.
What would you do with the $25,000?With the $25,000, I would buy more supplies for students in my classroom, especially to support sensory needs. I would buy books to send home with my students in order to help them practice more. I would buy supplies that would help my special education students achieve even more with their academics.
