I became a teacher because I love seeing that moment when it finally clicks for a kid. Helping them believe in themselves never gets old.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of my most memorable moments was when a student who had been saying, “I’m just bad at this,” all year finally got it, like really got it. Their face lit up, and they looked at me like, “Wait… I can do this?”

What would you do with the $25,000?

Honestly? I’d probably split it between responsibility and joy. Pay down anything that gives me stress, set some aside for savings and then use some to travel somewhere beautiful and reset.
