Tell us why you became a teacher

I have dreamed of becoming a teacher since I was very young. I was fortunate to have many wonderful teachers who made learning fun and meaningful. Their impact on my life inspired me to do the same for others. As I spent more time in classrooms, I realized how much I value building relationships with students and creating an environment where they feel safe, supported, and capable. I believe every child deserves a place where they can both learn and feel loved. Teaching is my calling.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

I have been a part of a really amazing team the last 4 years. We’ve built a friendship not only as hard working team but we are family. Our team show up daily to love kids and the kids are OUR kids! We have put the students best interest at heart and we teach to all students not just the kids in our classroom. We have continued to grow and evolve as teachers. We learn together and take what we are learning and apply it to make lessons and units more engaging and exciting for our tiny learners.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would love for our littles at school to have a really cool bike path, more bikes/helmets/scooters/etc, and a safe shed to hold all these items. I also would love to have an outside play kitchen area and a sound garden!!
