Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I am passionate to help others, guide them in the right direction and give them as many learning opportunities as possible. Teaching was something that always stood out to me because everyday is unique, full of new chances and building relationships with others.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable teaching experience was being told I made a student enjoy English class again. I was the type of student in high school who had the most nurturing, kind and passionate English teacher and that is exactly what I wanted to be too. Therefore, being told I made a student of mine love English again allowed me to fulfill that want to be the English teacher I had for others.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With the $25,000 I would pay off my student loan debt from going to school to be a teacher. Becoming a teacher was something I knew I wanted to do my whole life and I made the sacrifice of student loan debt to make my dreams come true. This would allow me more financial freedom to continue my dream career of teaching without the stress of student loan debt payments.
