I became a teacher because I wanted to not just help students learn, but to encourage and empower the students to believe and understand that learning can also be fun!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI once created a mock election for 5th grade classroom during an election year, students were taught about the candidates running in the real election, and I organized an event where all 5th grade students were able to cast their ballot to vote for their chosen candidate based off the information provided. It was covered by the local newspaper.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would donate some of it to my classroom to help with supplies. I would also use it to fund my tutoring business outside of my school to reach out to the community and help other struggling learners achieve their goals.
