I have always been drawn to helping people and wanting to teach.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

I have been blessed to have many memorable teaching moments. The "ah ha" moments my student's have is the greatest accomplishment I could ask for. I love to incorporate the fun into learning and those moments where we are going beyond just paper and pencil work is truly a memorable moment. Some of my favorite moments: creating the layers of the earth with sand that they keep, creating their own Galaxy in a jar, creating habitats as a group, and so many more.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the 25,000 to help continue the hands on learning in my class. It would go to all of the supplies that I use through each unit. It would allow me to also buy treats for my class throughout the year. I always try to go above and beyond for Christmas and and the end of year for them. This would help relieve me of the stress of paying for all the things I do throughout the year. I would also be able to get a new class rug, flexible seating, and new books for the library.
