Becoming a teacher is a calling. So many need a positive steady influence in their lives . So many just need someone to truly see them. If you have ever had the privilege of going on the journey of a school year with a student and they have that authentic ‘lightbulb’ moment, that is worth it all right there.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching moment was when one of my firsties washed his poop and brought it back to class to show his classmates “all of the cool things in it”.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the money for getting my admin credentials, taking a much needed vacation that is not for medical purposes with my husband and kids, and restocking the food and clothes that I keep for kids that need them in my classroom and helping our little drama club get nicer lights and sound for our show next year.
