I became a teacher so I could help my own children to develop more and because I love to learn. I am a firm believer in the fact that you should strive to learn something new everyday.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI had a second grade student who struggled with reading. He came to me at the beginning of second grade on a pre kindergarten reading level. I work closely with him, his family, and my teaching team and we were able to not only catch him up but to exceed his reading level expectations by the end of 3rd grade. He is thriving and still continues to grow as he progresses each year.
What would you do with the $25,000?Pay on my student loans and then plan a fantastic field trip for my students.
