I love teaching because I love to see the growth that students make. I love to teach about making a difference in the world to be kind.

I became a teacher to make a difference in the education of the students. As an adult I now remember all of my teachers, the good and the not so nice. The biggest impact were the teachers that believed I could make a difference. For my students I want to be that teacher. The teacher Ethan believes in her students and tells them that they can do anything they put their mind to.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching moment has been come back to my class after having an emergency surgery. My students missed me so much. They were ready to learn and get back into their routine. I remember that day because I could see all of my students light bulbs going off as they learned and expanded new ideas.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would put it back into my classroom. Being in a title 1 school there hasn’t been much funding for items such as flexible seating and items to help accommodate students with different needs. I would also help my fellow teachers with any classroom needs they may have as well.
