Teenagers are AWESOME! They are curious and have a profound sense of justice. I get to teach a subject I love to incredible humans.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI was leading a travel tour of graduated seniors. We walked into the main hall of the Louvre and a student who was in my class 3 years before said “THIS IS IT!” Her eyes were huge! I said “This is what?” She said “THIS is the hallway you told us about! The one where the king had his subjects fill it with shrubs and then released a fox so he could go fox hunting on horseback indoors to entertain his children!” She was stunned the place was real. I was stunned she remembered the example of excess.
What would you do with the $25,000?I want to bring the kids to Ireland to visit my family. The last time they went to see them they were too young to remember and my family is getting older every year.
