I became a teacher because it is awesome!! I didn’t have the easiest path going through school. I never had a teacher who truly believed I could succeed. So I wanted to become that teacher for all the kids who come to my class!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceThere are lots of amazing moments, but I think the most touching to me happens almost everyday. We have about 1200 kids at our school and everyday while I pass through the lunch room they all yell, wave, and chant “Mr Ben”. It helps me to know that I’m making a difference in their lives and they actually enjoy coming to my classes!
What would you do with the $25,000?The money would help our little family of 3 get our ow house. It would go towards a down payment to give us a home of our own.
