I became a teacher to make a difference in a children’s lives. I wanted to be a support system for kids that didn’t have one.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI had a student who came to my class from self contained. It was a very rough start. He destroyed my room, threw a computer at me which sprained my wrist and was very disruptive. I finally bonded with him. This was 7 years ago. His mom recently messaged and told me I’m still his favorite teacher and I made a huge difference in his life.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would spend some of it on my kids in my classroom and I would also go on a vacation.
