I love teaching because I get to spark curiosity, build confidence, and help kids believe in themselves every single day.

I became a teacher because I believe every child deserves someone who believes in them. I want my classroom to be a place where students feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. When a child realizes they are capable of more than they thought, it’s a powerful moment. Helping students discover their confidence and curiosity is why I love teaching.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of my most memorable moments was watching a student who struggled with confidence proudly present a project they created. Their classmates cheered and you could see their pride. That moment reminded me that teaching isn’t just about lessons—it’s about helping students believe in themselves and realize their ideas matter.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I won $25,000, I would invest part of it into hands-on learning experiences for my students by adding more STEM tools and classroom resources that spark curiosity. I would also use part of it to support my family. Teaching is my passion, and this opportunity would help me continue creating meaningful learning experiences for my students.
